However, it is required pursuant to the regulations covering veterans and individuals with disabilities. Also, the EEOC recommends that companies conduct annual training on equal opportunity principles and prevention of workplace harassment. The OFCCP often requires as part of its legal settlements that companies conduct at least annual training on these matters.
