Using Data to Help Talent Acquisition and Compliance Collaborate
There is no denying that there is inherent struggle between compliance and talent acquisition professionals. In this competitive labor market, the road that recruiters take to bring on talent is often littered with best intentions that run awry of solid compliance practices. But effective hiring shouldn’t have to come at the cost of noncompliance. Preparation of a company’s annual AAP gives compliance professionals the opportunity to audit the process to determine if recruiters are following the procedures developed to ensure compliance with OFCCP rules and practices.
During this interactive session, Beth will share techniques to help attendees review their applicant data to determine how well procedures such as disposition coding, data management techniques, job fair/conference recruiting and requisition rules are being followed. She will discuss how to process the implications of findings from the data, and how best to communicate that information to talent acquisition in a way that is meaningful to them. She’ll share tips on how to collaborate with talent acquisition to move forward and adjust practices that may be of concern to compliance professionals. The insight and practical tips shared will provide attendees with strategies to frame this discussion so that the result can be an organization that has both a compliant and effective recruitment process.
