Microaggressions are small acts, comments and habits that compounded over time, kill employee morale, work culture, and create toxic environments. This interactive session provides an overview of microaggressions, and how they show up in the workplace and impact individuals’ performance. A series of mock scenarios will highlight ways to address common situations from the perspective of a bystander, manager and person impacted by the microaggression. Participants will also receive a one-page reference document, offering reminders and suggestions on how to respond to microaggressions.
