Construction companies involved in federal projects have affirmative action obligations, and these obligations are often very different than those faced by companies that are not involved in construction projects. While the federal government has shown limited interest in the affirmative action practices of construction companies during the last five years, the government is now ramping up efforts to review what is occurring at construction companies.
