Milwaukee, WI (Sept. 24, 2021) – Circa is pleased to announce a formal partnership with ThisWay Global, an Austin-based HR tech company. Circa will offer Diversity Sourcing Powered by ThisWay Global as a complement to its OFCCP compliance management and recruiting technology solutions to deliver qualified candidates on a level, equitable playing field.

Circa is also excited to announce that ThisWay Global was just selected into the highly competitive Google Startup Accelerator program. This accelerator is designed to bring the best of Google’s programs, products, people and technology to women-led tech startups in North America. In addition to mentorship and technical project support, the accelerator includes deep dives between ThisWay and Google’s resources in product design, marketing, customer acquisition and leadership development for ThisWay’s leadership team and founder.

“By aligning with ThisWay Global, we continue to strengthen our role in AI-powered solutions,” Patrick Sheahan, CEO, Circa said. “We are excited to be working with ThisWay Global to accelerate unbiased sourcing and matching that fuels our mission of increasing workplace diversity. We are proud to partner with a company that has been accepted to Google’s Startup Accelerator program where they can continue to surface qualified talent with diverse communities while maintaining enterprise and government level compliance.”

“Acceptance into the Google Startup Accelerator program just further validates our approach of using artificial intelligence to mitigate bias in hiring,” said Angela Hood, CEO and Founder of ThisWay. “When I was in R&D at The University of Cambridge’s Entrepreneur Incubator: ideaSpace, we found that bias was severely constraining recruiting success for both employers and candidates. Now that we have spent years developing technology to mitigate this bias and enable greater diversity, our customers and their applicants benefit from machine learning and algorithms that fairly match all people to all jobs based on fit, skillset and 16,000 other data points. Now, we have also found partners in Google and Circa who share that vision.”
