The honorees of the 2020 HIRE Vets Medallion Award have been announced at a ceremony held at the U.S. Department of Labor on Nov. 10, 2020. U.S. Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia recognized more than 675 companies for their efforts to recruit, employ and retain our nation’s veterans by the organization that is the only federal-level veterans’ employment award of its type.
There are two tiers for the award, gold and platinum. Also, different awards are given for large employers (500-plus employees), medium employers (51-499 employees), and small employers (50 or fewer employees). For each award, the employer must satisfy a set of criteria, however most awards do not require the employer-applicant to satisfy all of the program criteria.
For 2020, 43 of the 675 award recipients also were Circa customers. The company helps support HIRE Vets Medallion award recipients, as well as other organizations in their efforts to recruit and retain veterans with a SaaS-based technology software solution.
