The VETS-4212 report, is a report that is required to be filed annually by all nonexempt federal contractors and subcontractors with a contract or subcontract of $150,000 or more. So, if your company does not have a single contract of $150,000 or more, then you are not required to file the VETS-4212 report. The report requires the following information to be submitted: your total number of employees who are protected veterans, your total number of employees, your new hires who are protected veterans, and your total new hires, along ten defined job categories ranging from service workers to executive/senior level officials and managers. Contractors covered under VEVRAA are required to invite applicants to voluntarily self-identify their status as a protected veteran during the pre- and post-offer stage. If you have been tracking this information using the voluntary self-disclosure, you should be able to obtain the information you need for the report from your ATS provider and HR Information System.
You can use this OFCCP audit checklist to ensure you're doing what is required to maintain OFCCP's regulations including VEVRAA, Section 503, and EO 11246. Or request a demo to streamline your compliance and recruiting efforts.
